I started with Dr. Robert Fortino in his South Jersey office in March of 2023. As a person who has been overweight to obese for almost his entire life, anytime I would go to a doctor about my weight would be accompanied with self doubt and pity. However, my initial start with Dr. Fortino was different. From the start, Dr. Fortino was very supportive and gave me the map to dropping weight. He taught me how to have a healthy lifestyle without stressing over confusing and misleading information that so many other sources would provide. While I would be doing a lot of work, I was assured that I could count on the Doc for his support, both in our appointments and while I was on the outside working on my journey. Dr. Fortino also gave me something that I had never had in any of my previous visits to weight-loss doctors: self-belief that I could do this. Along the way, I have found that his professionalism and dedication are genuine. I have also come to learn that his staff is equally professional and dedicated. So I write this post nearly 200lbs down. I couldn't have done it without Dr. Fortino and his staff. And while I still have a long way to do, I couldn't imagine achieving any of these goals without the support of my family, friends, and Dr. Fortino and his staff! Thanks Doc! You guys are the best!

I’ve been dieting most of my life, even doing Hcg with its 500 calories. It worked for me, and I kept it off for awhile, but eventually I gained it back. Dr Fortino’s knowledge of nutrition is above & beyond most professionals. How many doctors & dietitians are aware of dwarf wheat? His plan, with wonderful recipes, is a lifestyle change that ensures the weight will stay off. Personally, I started with very low carb & lost 10 pounds the first 3 weeks. As I get closer to my goal I’ll add more healthy carbs and Dr Fortino’s plan is the best I have seen. His Boost Lipotropic Spray is an Amazing must have supplement, my daughter & I are hooked!! I also take his probiotic & will try his Reboot Spray next visit. Thankyou Dr Fortino💚Update: I stoped keto & craved fruit so started started mixing a variety of fresh fruit together and added other carbs. At one point I was going to resume keto because I felt like I gained, but when I got on the scale I was down another pound. I love Dr. Fortino I came to him at my highest weight (296) and very unhealthy! I was told by my orthopedic surgeon I would probably never run again to stick to low impact aerobics 🙁 I love running it releases my hyper activity and frustrations so that was devastating to hear. I came to this Dr. looking for guidance and a place I could be held accountable - We embarked on this life long journey together and it has been the best decision of my life!
